Who is WE ARE W? We are W is an online fitness experience driven by music. The idea was founded in Zurich, Switzerland by a team of dynamic women! Their goal is to promote and spread accessible workouts for everyone by providing online fitness experiences.

WE ARE W offer daily Cardio, Core, Stretch and Meditation.

 

CARDIO:

They provide daily cycling to guarantee you to get a little sweaty and raise your heart rate. Their music allows you to lose control and let your mind forget that you're even working out! The most fun and liberating way to get your daily exercise on.

 

CORE:

Their signature core workouts are sure to lift your booty and your spirit. Performing to the beat of the music, you exercise with weights, sliders and resistance bands to get that low impact and high energy workout.

 

STRETCH & MEDITATION:

WE ARE W believe in muscle awareness and balance. They offer a variety of meditative practises including yoga, sound healing, breath work and nutrition.


MEET THE TEAM

What made you create WE ARE W?

 

We wanted to create a 360 online platform to practice CORE, CARDIO but also to learn how to COOK, STRETCH and MEDITATE

 

This being said: Music made us do it!

We use the music as the catalyst on how we move our body, our workouts are executed to the beat & it’s the DNA and the heart of everything we do at W.

 

Our practices our named after song titles. Just so you get an idea here are a few:

GET IT RIGHT (by diplo) pilates with a focus on the core

TAKI TAKI (by J- balvin) 100% afro latino ride

EASY ON ME (by Adele) sound bath meditation & stretch

YUMMY (by J.bieber) cooking practice

 

The goal is to make you forget how hard you’re working. We want people to think “ I like taking care of myself” from home because it’s fun!

 

What does W stands for?

Warriors! We are surrounded by wonderful humans with busy agendas. Our members are the warriors we are talking about.

 

What do you like most about creating your own concept?

The best part of it is to gather a community of amazing warriors and to help them take care of their physical and mental health. A true warrior knows when to push and when to rest.

No matter what phase they're in, they’ll always find a practice that suits their need and schedule. We have DAILY LIVE PRACTICES but also REPLAYS.

 

When did you start to build the brand?

 

We created our signature low impact and sweaty practice called the RAVE during the first lockdown in 2020.

We were offering x1 IG LIVE RAVE per week and in summer of 2021 we blossomed into a platform with of course the RAVE but also CYCLING, STRETCHING, MEDITATION and also COOKING practices!

I love making playlist, I have a public one on my Spotify. You’ll find it on my Instagram bio @annesotillier. I update it weekly. It’s ridiculously long and its my go to playlist! Go follow it!

 

Favorite workout

To me, a workout is not about the practice, it’s about the instructor! Who gives the class is more important than what is the class about. I’m sensitive to a good excecution of course, but it’s all about the spirit and the playlist.If you’d ask what are the workout I do weekly. A couple! I lead the stretch, rave & ride practices at W! I guess I’m a huge fan of the cycling practice but I can tell you that I need all of core and stretch practice to feel balanced!

 

Your go-to fuel before + after a workout

A spoon of peanut butter and a banana. Always and forever!

 

What are you most excited about going into 2022?

Our retreat at Cervo in Zermatt next March

Favorite Playlist

My 90s playlist.

I have some hip hop,rnb ,pop and soft rock in there.

It always transports me back in time.

And gets me moving.

 

Favorite workout

Balance is key for me.

I love to take care of my body in a holistic way by riding, doing the Rave and also very important the Stretching.

Its in the combination of those practices I find my sweet spot and where I feel at my best.

 
Your go-to fuel before + after a workout

I never train without a bit of fuel.

So you would always find me either having a banana or a small avo toast before my workout.

After my workout I tend to have either my lunch/dinner.

 

What are you most excited about going into 2022?

To get our Warriors moving from home in a fun and safe way.

Also all our upcoming collaborations and retreat in Zermatt!

We can’t wait to show Zurich what we have been up to.
